Now that you are properly fueled, walk north on Park Boulevard three blocks and step into The Antique Doorknob. Be amazed at the selection of original restored building artifacts, antique Victorian lights, preserved historic hardware, wrought iron and stain glass. Be careful not to linger more than an hour or two, you have much more of West Cape May to explore.

Proceeding south on Broadway again, it is time to go get pampered.  The Well Center for Massage offers a relaxing experience set in a tranquil environment. Their highly trained massage therapists offer a wide variety of massages with special add ons. Try The Well Being Massage with a Sweet Feet add on and try to keep it a secret. If massages aren’t your thing, try an Oat and Honey Body Wrap with mini facial. The Well Center for Massage believes stress is inevitable but suffering is optional. After one treatment, you will understand how right they are!

As you leave The Well Center for Massage, go around the corner to Sunset Boulevard to The Bird House of Cape May. Anchored  at the brightly colored Chattel House Village (They're the yellow one!), The Bird House offers home decor and backyard birding products like the finest collection of bird houses made in the USA: functional, stylish, cypress/cedar/mahogany, copper roofs, Victorian styles, eclectic, and traditional. They also offer great bird feeders, including squirrel proof feeders (yes, really...)  Ask the owners for suggestions!

The Bird House also carries unique gifts inspired by nature. Be sure to pick up their all-natural bug repellent products for when you're on the beach, on the trail or hosting in your own back yard.
Now that you’ve loaded the bags from The Bird House in your car, you’re thinking, what’s next? The answer is a visit to The Willow Creek Winery. This 50 acre vineyard and eco farm is located in the center of farm country in West Cape May. It produces premium sustainable wines that are grown and bottled on site. The bottling and tasting complex is a 12,000 square foot building with post and beam construction. It is impressive and is situation near the center of the vineyard to maximize privacy. Willow Creek offers tours on their eco carts and wine and sangria tastings from 11:00am thru 5:00pm. For Wine Pairing dinners, call the winery directly.

To end the day in West Cape May, you are probably thinking about one last edible adventure.  Go back to 600 Park Boulevard and stop at Good Earth Organic Eatery. Try the local flounder baked with apple or the local baked sea scallops with marjoram and breadcrumbs served with veggie quinoa. New produce includes fresh, local shelling peas from Hazlett Farm in Goshen, NJ. Soon to arrive will be local blueberries and raspberries. It's wonderful to eat seasonally and savor the gifts of summer when the good Earth provides them. They are so much yummier.

Believe it or not, the day has slipped by and we still have over 80% of the town to see. I guess you'll just have to return to West Cape May another time and plan to stay a little longer.  See you soon
